COVID-19

 I want to take a moment to thank all my loyal clients for your ongoing support and understanding during this unusual time. This COVID-19 client protocol statement details the key steps that I will be taking to keep you safe whilst at the salon. There are a number of steps that I am kindly asking you to assist with before, during and after your appointment to enable me to remain COVID SECURE. 

• Please read this statement. Your booking confirmation will contain a link to this COVID-19 Client Protocol Statement so you know what to expect when you visit the salon.  
• Reschedule / Cancel. Please reschedule your appointment with as much notice as possible if you or anyone you have come into contact with; feel unwell, have symptoms of coronavirus (including a high temperature of over 37.8, new continuous cough or a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste or a new rash), have tested positive for coronavirus or are waiting for a test for coronavirus

• Please arrive for your appointment at the agreed time (please do not arrive early/late). I will be working to a very strict appointment system to allow me enough time to thoroughly clean the salon in between every client.  Please could I request you do not arrive late as this may result in having to cancel your appointment with cancellation charges applicable (as per my cancellation policy which can be seen on my website).
• PPE - Please bring along your own face mask to wear in the salon, please wear it before entering. If you do not have a mask I have them available to purchase for £2. You will be required to wear a mask whilst in the salon. 
• When you arrive please wait for me to open the door  
• Please try to minimise the possessions that you bring into the salon to avoid contamination etc. Please bring along a large carrier bag to place your coat into as i cannot have coats hanging over my gowns.
• Upon entry to the salon you will be asked to wash/sanitize  your hands
• Toilet facilities are available and will be cleaned regularly.  I will ask you to wash your hands again when entering my salon after returning from the toilets.

• I have implemented a number of additional changes to increase safety 
• I will be wearing appropriate PPE which may include face masks, face shields, gloves and aprons and will continue to maintain a strict regime of hand washing and sanitisation.
• As I work on an appointment only basis please be rest assured that you will be the only person in the salon with me at any time.
• Hand washing facilities and hand sanitiser are available in the salon.
• I have always maintained the highest level of general hygiene and cleanliness within the salon and this will continue. I will be fully disinfecting the salon after each client. disinfecting brushes and combs 
• Any frequently touched surfaces such as door handles work stations etc, will be regularly disinfected in accordance with our cleaning protocol.
• Please be assured that for any treatments where I do continue to use towels and gowns these are laundered with effective elimination of any bacteria or viruses

•  Please wear a face mask whilst in the building.  If you do not have one or forget to bring it with you I have them available for the price of £2.

•  Cash and bank transfers will be accepted.  

All of these procedures have been implemented for your safety. These measures are intended to manage risk and cannot be assumed to completely eliminate the risk of contracting the virus. I will continue to monitor the government’s advice and will amend new protocols as necessary.
