Hair has been my world for over forty years. From my private garden salon in Cheshire, I welcome brides into a relaxed space where there's time to listen, perfect every detail and create timeless bridal hair that feels beautifully, authentically you.
"It all started with a Tressy doll..."
When I was a little girl, I had a Tressy doll (the one with the belly button you pressed to make the hair grow), and I was obsessed with it! I pressed it until it broke, and from that moment I knew that hair would be my craft.
My apprenticeship in Nantwich led to a senior stylist role, which led to competitions — regional first, then national. That led me into education, where I spent four years lecturing and passing everything I'd spent a career learning on to the next generation.
Then bridal hair found me (long before it became the industry it is today.) Even so, years on, I still love it more than ever! Creating timeless styles for my brides and seeing the joy and confidence it brings them on their wedding day makes every early start worth it.

Booking a bridal hair stylist is a personal thing, you're inviting someone into one of the most intimate mornings of your life.
So it feels right to tell you a little about who I am.
I'm a qualified teacher, and I still go back into colleges to judge competitions and deliver training. I believe their best hair stylists never stop learning.
I've been married to Kevin for a long time (he built me a salon, so he's a keeper). My sister Julia is my biggest supporter and occasional right-hand woman on the bigger wedding mornings.
I've done the hair for brides I've known since they were born. For my own niece on her wedding day. For my best friend's daughter. When someone trusts me with a morning that personal, I don't take it lightly.
I feel the same warmth, giddy excitement and anticipation for each and every bride I meet. And love the moment that nerves give way to smiles when everything clicks into place.

Iscoyd Park is a beautiful and intimate grade II listed country house in Shropshire, England. The theme was 'early 20th century english glamour', and I'm incredible proud of the hair look created.
