I am so glad that I found Gill to do my wedding hair. I have naturally thin hair, so was quite nervous about what would be possible, especially as I was wearing a veil, but at my trial she really took the time to understand exactly what I was hoping for and did an amazing job replicating my vision. On the wedding day, she did hair for me, two bridesmaids and my mum, who all had very different hair types and asked for different styles. Everyone looked amazing, with our hair lasting all day and night. On top of being so talented Gill is also a really lovely person; she brought such a calm and fun energy to my wedding morning and made everyone feel really relaxed. I would 100% recommend Gill, she’s fantastic.

Gill is amazing! She was always really easy to contact, from getting my first quote to the big day itself. Gill had no problems creating and adapting the style I wanted. We discussed my hair colour at my trial and arranged for her to colour it to best complement the style. The colour was amazing, and if she wasn't so far away I'd go every time for my hair! Her hair salon studio is also really cute! One of my bridesmaids has very curly hair and Gill was able to style it with ease in a way that worked best for her hair. It was a pleasure to have Gill do our hair on my wedding morning. I would definitely recommend her!

I booked Gillian for my wedding and was extremely nervous, as I have issues with my hair. As soon as I met her, I instantly felt at ease. Choosing Gill for my bridal hair was an absolute no-brainer for me. I love how Gill does bridal hair and she is so talented in what she does. Gill is also a true perfectionist and so passionate in her work. During my hair trial, she wanted to make sure she got my hair just right, so she invited me back for another trial absolutely free, as she wanted to make sure i had the perfect hair for my wedding day. Gill did the hair for myself (bride), my 4 bridesmaids and my Mum for my wedding on the 9th of August. Not only was our hair absolutely perfect, but Gill was the perfect person to spend your wedding morning with. We were chatting and laughing all morning so I wasn't even aware of the wedding nerves creeping in.

My hair lasted through the full wedding day and dancing all night until it took 2 people to take it out at 2 am. I have a lot of quite fine hair which never has any volume. However, Gill managed to make my hair look the best it ever has. I would 100% recommend her if you want beautiful wedding hair which lasts.

I couldn’t have asked for more beautiful hair than Gillian created for me for my wedding! My fine, boring hair was somehow made to look thick, luxurious and glamorous in the most amazing up do I have ever seen. Gillian is a miracle worker and I am so grateful. Gill is a real gem + an expert in colour, cut, and wedding hair! I never thought I’d get married with super short hair, but after losing my hair to chemotherapy, that’s the situation I was in.

When I needed to book a hairdresser for my wedding, I left it a bit late as I didn’t even want to talk about my hair. Gill was recommended to me by my wedding make-up artist, and from the moment I got in touch with her I felt instant relief. Gill was responsive, understood my situation and was reassuring. We did the trials for my bridesmaids and for my mum well in advance so got to meet Gill on a few occasions before my own trial. Gill suggested we book my own trial quite close to my wedding, which is unusual but when every millimetre of hair counts then it matters!

If you’re looking for a hairdresser who really knows their stuff, I can’t recommend Gill enough! She’s amazing with colour, cuts, and especially wedding hair, and on top of that, she’s super friendly and so easy to talk to.

The second you walk in her salon, you feel totally welcome. She always greets you with a big smile and really takes the time to listen to what you want. When it comes to colouring and cutting, she just gets it. She listens to ideas, offers helpful tips, and every visit is perfect.

If you need wedding hair look no further. Gill is calm and reassuring which is exactly what you need on your big day. What really makes her stand out, is how well she communicates. She keeps you in the loop the whole time, gives honest advice, and always makes sure you’re happy. Her friendly vibe turns every appointment into a day I look forward to.

I am SO glad that Gill did my wedding hair. I felt like Gill was genuinely invested in me and our wedding day and I could tell right from the off she really cared about the fact I was absolutely 100% happy with my look throughout the trial and the time leading up to the wedding. As someone prone to indecision, visualising the perfect look for my big day was a challenge. Given my hair's resistance to curls, I initially opted for a safe updo. Gill's expertise shone through in both a polished high bun and a more relaxed version, both stunning. However, the idea of Hollywood waves lingered in my mind. Gill, picked up on this and arranged an additional trial without hesitation. Grateful for her initiative, Hollywood waves turned out to be the ideal choice, complementing my me and my dress perfectly. I felt incredible from head to toe. Gill did such an amazing job for my wedding day and was such a warm and calming addition to my wedding morning. We met a few times prior to the wedding to try different hair styles and Gill was happy to try anything I suggested to ensure I was completely happy with my choice for my big day.

We started early as I had 6 bridesmaids all with different hair colours and lengths and Gill ensured each one was put in to a different bun to suit their hair type. They looked so elegant and effortless and all our hair stayed in all day and night!

If you’re looking for a wedding hair stylist, look no further. Gill was one of the best decisions I made for my entire wedding! She was so incredibly knowledgeable, worked around my schedule (at short notice), and made my hair look absolutely incredible! She was so committed to getting exactly what I wanted. We did two trials because my hair wasn’t playing ball, and she wouldn't give up till it was perfect! She made sure I felt comfortable throughout the whole process and communicated so efficiently!

On the day, she was a rockstar, getting through my hair, 5 bridesmaids and a MOB! We all looked perfect. I honestly don’t know how she did it! The morning of she was the whole package, helping get me dressed, calming my nerves, keeping us on time, and making me laugh! If that wasn’t enough, the day was a rare hot humid day in the UK and Gill (without being asked) came to the reception to check if I needed to redo my hair so it was perfect for my first dance. I was so incredibly thankful because it had formed a giant knot at the back; I could’ve cried seeing her!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would give a thousand. Choose Gill for your wedding, or any special event; you will not be disappointed. I have recommended her to everyone, and she has a loyal customer in me forever and ever. I can’t thank Gill enough!

Gill is the fairy godmother of wedding hair. She is such a kind soul and so friendly, which made the trial and the big day so easy. She took time to listen to what I wanted but also advised on technical details. I was so happy with my Hollywood waves and received so many compliments. Aside from this, one of the biggest things I’m thankful for is Gill doing my mum's hair when she was quite self-conscious about her thin hair.
